Rachel is the Operations Director for the Missy Wyant Smit Team, bringing extensive experience in real estate management and operations. Previous to joining our team, she held the role of Bay Area Operations Director at Hughes Marino, a commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation where she spent 7+ years developing offices in Southern California and the Bay Area.

Her leadership is marked by strategic vision and optimizing processes for seamless client experiences. She oversees all property preparation for our listings before they hit the market, preparing budgets, and managing all vendor communication. Growing up in Marin, Tatum developed a deep appreciation for Northern California and spent much of her childhood competitively skiing and playing lacrosse. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder where she studied strategic communications with an emphasis in media design. After graduating from college, she returned to Northern California and made San Francisco home. Her career began creating digital content for a jewelry brand before she moved into a Marketing & Events role for a children's clothing company. Outside of work, she can usually be found skiing, spending time with friends, hiking in Marin, or cooking for friends and family.

Yvo Smit is the Team Strategist. He was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to the USA in the ‘90s. He has a Masters degree in Public Administration and an MBA from Kellogg, where he focused on Strategy and Marketing. He worked for McKinsey & Company and brings data analysis and a quantitative perspective to the team. One of Yvo’s specialties is consumer behavior and retail marketing, which skills he honed while running the retail business for Ghirardelli Chocolate for more than a decade.
As you might guess, Yvo is married to Missy and in his spare time, he is active at The Bay School and University high school, the schools of their daughters. During the winter he can often be found on the ski slopes.
