Meet Yvo Smit

Yvo Smit is the Team Strategist. He was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to the USA in the ‘90s. He has a Masters degree in Public Administration and an MBA from Kellogg, where he focused on Strategy and Marketing. He worked for McKinsey & Company and brings data analysis and a quantitative perspective to the team. One of Yvo’s specialties is consumer behavior and retail marketing, which skills he honed while running the retail business for Ghirardelli Chocolate for more than a decade.

As you might guess, Yvo is married to Missy and in his spare time, he is active at Burke’s and University high school, the schools of their daughters. During the winter he can often be found on the ski slopes.
